Smitty’s Tree Service has all the heavy equipment needed to safely trim and remove trees on your property. Special attention is taken prior to starting a job to make sure everything is done safely with no damage to your property. Before leaving, the work area is raked and the sidewalks and driveway are blown clean. We offer the following services:
Tree and Stump Removal: We encourage clients to keep their trees but in some cases a tree must be removed. The tree is usually removed to within 6” of the ground. Stumps are usually ground 12 to 15 inches below grade .
Tree Trimming: Trees can be trimmed for several reasons. Dead and hazardous branches should be removed to provide a safe area under the tree and reduce exposure to harmful insects. Branches that are close to the house or encroaching on a neighbor's property should be removed. Sprout growth and branches that do not benefit the trees structure should be removed. Trimming is beneficial to your homes value as it creates a safer environment and an aesthetically pleasing view.
Land Clearing: Clearing of trees in an area prior to construction.
Firewood: We offer both mixed hardwoods (no cottonwood or willow), and oak.
Tree Support Systems: Some trees may have a weak structure but may be supported by bolting and cabling to preserve their life.
Certified Arborist Consultations: We can evaluate a damaged tree and provide recommendations. We can also evaluate a property prior to construction to determine the steps needed to preserve existing trees.
